About TekMemo
Memory infrastructure for AI products that need to remember.
TekMemo is a structured memory layer for AI applications. It helps developers store, organize, index, and recall the context their products need — across sessions, projects, users, and workflows.
Managed Memory
Hosted memory infrastructure for teams that want durable context, recall, project isolation, and production controls without managing the underlying memory stack.
Open Runtime
Open-source packages, adapters, CLI/MCP workflows, AI SDK integrations, and a self-hosted runtime for teams that need more control over deployment and data boundaries.
Controlled Path
An enterprise direction for teams that need stronger security controls, deployment review, contractual safeguards, and regulated-data support as the platform matures.
Why TekMemo exists
AI systems are only useful when they can keep the right context.
Modern AI products are moving beyond one-off chat. They need to remember users, projects, sessions, decisions, tools, tasks, repository conventions, support histories, and workflow outcomes. Without a dedicated memory layer, teams are forced to stitch together prompts, vector databases, custom metadata, brittle chunking logic, and ad hoc retrieval rules.
TekMemo provides a structured memory layer for this problem. It is designed to help developers store useful context, organize it by project and workflow, index it for retrieval, and recall only what the current AI system needs.
The goal is simple: make memory a reliable part of AI application architecture instead of a fragile collection of prompt hacks, disconnected notes, and one-off retrieval scripts.
What TekMemo supports
A memory layer for apps, agents, tools, and teams.
TekMemo is not limited to autonomous agents. It is built for any system that needs durable, retrievable context across sessions, tools, users, and projects.
View all use casesAI Applications
Give AI products a durable memory layer for user context, product behavior, preferences, and session continuity.
Agents and Copilots
Help agents, coding assistants, and copilots recall decisions, project rules, tool outputs, and workflow state across sessions.
Developer Workflows
Store architecture decisions, repository conventions, debugging notes, deployment lessons, and reusable engineering context.
Teams and Knowledge Systems
Make product knowledge, support history, internal procedures, research notes, and team decisions easier to retrieve and reuse.
Principles
Core Tenets
Durable Context
AI systems should not lose important project knowledge, decisions, preferences, workflow state, or session history every time a prompt ends. TekMemo is built to preserve useful context and make it retrievable when it matters.
Developer-First Infrastructure
Memory should be easy to add to real products. TekMemo focuses on clean APIs, typed SDKs, framework adapters, examples, documentation, and deployment paths that fit how developers actually build.
Clear Data Boundaries
Memory infrastructure has to be honest about privacy and security. TekMemo Cloud is currently intended for non-sensitive developer and project memory, with self-hosting and enterprise paths for stricter data-control needs.
Open and Inspectable
TekMemo is designed around an open-source foundation. Teams should be able to inspect the runtime, understand the memory model, self-host when needed, and avoid being locked into a hidden memory layer.
Cloud and open source
Use the hosted platform when you need speed. Self-host when you need control.
TekMemo Cloud is the managed path for teams that want memory infrastructure without operating databases, queues, object storage, indexing jobs, or recall services themselves.
The open-source runtime gives developers a way to run TekMemo in their own environment using a self-hosted server, package integrations, adapters, CLI/MCP workflows, and deployment templates.
This split keeps TekMemo flexible: small teams can start quickly on Cloud, while privacy-sensitive teams can choose self-hosting and enterprises can move toward stricter review and contractual controls.
Sensitive data
Clear about what TekMemo Cloud is for today.
TekMemo Cloud is currently intended for non-sensitive developer and project memory, such as product knowledge, architecture decisions, coding context, team notes, workflow state, and AI memory.
It is not currently intended for regulated sensitive data such as PHI, cardholder data, bank account data, clinical records, government IDs, payment credentials, secrets, or compliance-restricted customer data unless there is written approval under an enterprise agreement.
We are actively working on regulated-data support for TekMemo Enterprise, including stronger security controls, deployment review, data-governance workflows, and enterprise compliance support for teams that require stricter privacy, contractual, and operational safeguards.
